Starting a small business in Manipur (2026): costs, wages, rent, licences
Manipur at a glance
Manipur's business climate is dominated by the ethnic conflict that began in May 2023: valley and hill districts are separated by buffer zones, highway blockades on NH-2 and NH-37 periodically choke supplies, and internet shutdowns (most recently five valley districts in April 2026) knock out UPI.
